Lukashenko congratulates Mauritania's president on Independence Day

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko greeted the President of the Islamic Republic of Mohamed Ould Ghazouani on Independence Day. This was reported by BELTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
This date is forever associated with the liberation of the Mauritanian people from the yoke of capitalism and the entry into a new era of development. Currently, Mauritania is on a course to strengthen its economy and is a participant in regional and global processes.
The head of state noted that this year marks 20 years since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations and, according to him, the time has come to take mutual partnership to a qualitatively new level.
The President also confirmed his invitation to the leader of Mauritania to visit Belarus. "I am confident that the results of our negotiations and your personal acquaintance with the Belarusian experience and competencies in industry, agriculture, healthcare, construction, education, and medicine will be a positive signal for the business circles of both countries and will help expand cooperation between Belarus and West Africa," the head of state emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Mohamed Ould Ghazouani good health and success, and peace and progress to the friendly people of Mauritania.
