Trump announces defense budget of $1 trillion

Donald Trump has announced a U.S. defense budget totaling $1 trillion. According to him, the document has already been effectively approved by the White House administration.

The American President also expressed pride in the fact that this will be the largest budget allocated to the military.

Trump made his statement during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, discussing the operation against the Houthis in Yemen.

Earlier, the U.S. dispatched a second aircraft carrier group to bolster its military presence in the Middle East.
