International Medical Forum
Where and how to move forward for the capital's healthcare, how to make medical care even more accessible and effective for the population? This was discussed on October 10 within the walls of the Palace of the Republic.
Leading Belarusian specialists and their foreign colleagues gathered here to discuss current issues in the development of the medical industry. By the way, there are no closed topics or secrets. The main message is the exchange of experience in all areas of medicine.
"We can do everything that the world can do. And today there are no secrets for us. We do not need to learn anything globally, send specialists for long internships, because we have all the technologies. Moreover, people come to us to study. But there are certain points that we can optimize, the provision of this complex high-tech assistance. We will be able to make complex assistance accessible, which no one in the world has yet managed to do, but at least we will get closer to it. Well, we will be able to do it so that resources for this complex assistance are spent optimally," said Oleg Rummo, director of the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology.
Sergei Zanko, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Medical Public Association "Reproductive Health":
"Today, our main partners in scientific research are the Russian Federation. We are doing our part of the work, which concerns the population, related to the birth rate, the fight against infertility. And today, in particular, I will be glad to share with colleagues international developments within the framework of the program "Belarus and Russia" with famous scientists of the Russian Federation, which are aimed at health, reproductive, first of all, the health of the mother. Well, let's hope that healthy children will be behind this."
The Third Minsk International Medical Forum will last two days. On October 10, the participants will have a plenary session, and tomorrow, practical work of 11 thematic sections is planned at the bases of the capital's healthcare institutions.
