Agrarians of Belarus set two new records in 2024

Belarusian agrarians have set two industry records this year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food states that despite some difficulties associated with weather conditions, the outgoing year was successful for the workers of fields and farms. For the first time in history, the gross sugar beet harvest will exceed five million tons. This became possible not only due to the increase of sown areas, but also due to the improvement of technology and skill of farmers.

Another record has been recorded in the field of animal husbandry. The average milk yield from a cow in a year will exceed six thousand kilograms of milk.

The agrarians do not plan to stop at what they have achieved, according to the words of the head of the department, there are reserves for growth.
