First batch of BELARUS tractors rolls off assembly line in Cuba
The first batch of small-sized BELARUS tractors was assembled in the Cuban town of Holguin at the Heroes of July 26 plant, the press service of Minsk Tractor Works reported.
As part of the roadmap for the organization of joint assembly production of Belarusian machinery in Cuba, MTZ specialists together with employees of the Bobruisk plant of tractor parts and units assembled the first batch of BELARUS 321M tractors. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel visited the enterprise and was solemnly presented the assembled machines.
As it was specified at MTZ, the realization of the project allowed to reach a new level of cooperation and deepen integration in economic relations between the two countries. According to the representatives of the Bobruisk plant, the Cubans are interested in Belarusian machinery. Subsequently, more than 20 tractor sets are planned to be delivered to the Island of Freedom.
