Alexey Zhaldybin, the Consul General of Belarus in Dubai, believes that Belarusian companies are actively entering the UAE market.
The real estate and construction markets of the United Arab Emirates are growing annually by almost 10%, despite the fact that every year experts predict either a slowdown or insignificant growth, the diplomat noted. "Accordingly, the demand for both construction services and goods used in construction is also growing. This includes aluminum profiles and cement. Naturally, we cannot compete here in all product groups from the point of view of logistics, but Belarusian companies are still actively entering the UAE market with the product group that can be found here," the consul said. Alexey Zhaldybin:
"We also see a reciprocal interest from Emirati companies in entering the market of the Republic of Belarus. Naturally, we are interested in the arrival of Emirati investors and partners to the Belarusian market so that they can assist in the further promotion of Belarusian goods to the market of the United Arab Emirates and distant countries."
The Consul General of Belarus in Dubai believes that the dynamics are provided by the relations that have developed between the leaders of the states. According to him, this political umbrella has a direct impact on the interaction of Belarusian and Emirati companies, since businessmen look at how relations are developing at the political level.
Zhaldybin emphasized that the UAE leadership has unquestionable authority among the population. According to the consul, the actions of the country's leaders are completely shared and are subsequently implemented at lower levels. "And business is watching: if political relations are excellent (and indeed, at absolutely all meetings that we hold, our counterparties demonstrate awareness of the high level of political relations between our states), this certainly has a positive effect. And they begin to more actively follow the path that the leaders of our states set," explained the Consul General of Belarus in Dubai.
