Another group of Belarusians evacuated from Damascus and returning home

Following the work of the Embassy of Belarus in Syria and the consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the consuls currently in Beirut, the evacuation of another group of our citizens from Damascus has been ensured, BELTA reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

22 people who were in Syria under commercial contracts to service the Tishri Thermal Power Plant have safely left the country and are already moving home through the territory of the Union State.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus is grateful to everyone, including foreign partners and the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Lebanon, who provided assistance in resolving this difficult issue.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus will continue to work to provide possible assistance to our citizens who, for various reasons, found themselves in territories with difficult military and political conditions.
