Belarus and Russia Sign Agreements in Transport Development

Belarus and Russia signed agreements in transport development on the sidelines of the 18th International Forum and Exhibition "Transport of Russia", BELTA reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus Sergei Dubina and State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Dmitry Zverev approved the procedure for informing about threats of committing acts of illegal interference in the activities of transport infrastructure facilities of the two countries, as well as vehicles used for international and cabotage road transportation of goods.
The Belarusian Research Institute of Transport "Transtechnika" and the Research Institute of Automobile Transport (RF) signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides for joint scientific research, exchange of experience in the use of innovations in transport activities, ensuring the quality and availability of transport services, balanced development of various types of transport and transport and logistics infrastructure.
"Transport of Russia" is a major industry event that is being held from November 19 to 21 in Moscow. An important part of the forum's business program was occupied by issues on the international agenda, including the development of strategic partnership and the integration of national transport systems into the common network of the Commonwealth. A plenary discussion "Transport Cooperation "CIS Plus": Interconnectedness, Sustainability, Efficiency", a meeting of the CIS Coordination Transport Conference, and a meeting of the Council of Heads of Authorized Bodies in the Field of Transport of the Eurasian Economic Union were held. Also, during the working visit to Moscow of the delegation of the Ministry of Transport of Belarus, a meeting of the working group was held, where they discussed the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2024-2026. The parties initialed an action plan to improve the roads of the Union State for 2024-2026.
