On the morning of October 7, VGTRK's online services experienced problems with broadcasting. The broadcasts of TV channels Rossiya-1 and Rossiya-24, as well as radio stations belonging to the holding company, were unavailable on their websites. At the same time, the TV broadcasts were operating normally. The hacker attack is actively discussed on the Internet. Should we expect similar attacks in Belarus? Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly and popular blogger Ruslan Shkodin answered this question in the studio of First Informational.
“Everything is probably obvious here. A great deal has already been said in detail about information warfare. And the very word “attack”, probably a military word, implies that all this is done within the framework of information warfare. What it is done for is also obvious to everyone - to prevent people from accessing reliable information, which is transmitted by the channels that have been, in slang, put in place,” the blogger explained.
Ruslan Shkodin is sure that this is not the first attack, but it is the largest in recent times. We have seen various hacker attacks before. The same hacker attacks are taking place on our information resources. The goal is the same - to prevent the truth from reaching the people, the population.
