“We never thought that our enemy would attack residential houses. Out of 8 drones, only 3 were targeting defense-industrial complex facilities. They were hitting residential houses. A fire started in three residential buildings after the drone strike. It was extinguished as soon as possible.
An operational headquarters was deployed. Residents were evacuated from the affected areas and places of temporary accommodation and hot food were organized. Maria Zakharova said that the strike on Kazan was the Kiev regime's revenge for the successful BRICS summit.
The leader of the Just Russia party, Sergey Mironov, said that the Western missile strikes on Rylsk and the UAV attack in Kazan were a consequence of the lack of successes of the Ukrainian armed forces on the battlefield. The politician noted that the leader of the Kiev regime and his “masters” are asking for a duel with “Oreshnik” and want to provoke Russia into such a duel.
