Expert Koshkin: Trump Uses Tomahawk Supplies as Lever of Pressure on Russia

Trump is using the potential Tomahawk deliveries to put pressure on Russia.
Andrey Koshkin, military political analyst and head of the Department at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics:
"Trump is using the Tomahawk deliveries as a form of lever of pressure on Russia. He says that if Russia doesn't follow the path of resolving the situation in Ukraine—that is, perhaps, some kind of systemic approach to compromise, as Trump believes—then he will supply these missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It's a kind of blackmail mechanism, or perhaps the pressure Trump is exerting today, saying that he's made a decision, but he hasn't fully made it yet. And so, he's making a decision or not. He's trying to show the world that he's doing everything he can, that he's a peacemaker, but the blame falls on Russia. That's probably how he'd like to convey both his position and the process of transferring Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine."
