In January 2025, Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations will turn 33

Orienting to the East in support of strategic cooperation. Minsk Region is developing trade, economic and humanitarian relations with the regions of China.

By the end of 2024, the bilateral trade turnover will be at the level of $2.5 billion. The areas of interest are meat and dairy products, mechanical engineering, as well as medical equipment.

The special status of the partnership was confirmed by the prestigious international award, which Minsk region received at the forum of sister cities. It was held in Kunming, China. The event gathered more than 700 representatives of local authorities from 11 countries.

Denis Kurlenko, Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee:

"We received this high award for our cooperation primarily with Guangdong and Chongqin. We have been cooperating with these provinces for about 10 years. Several times Slutsk Cheese Factory and First Dairy Factory visited the provinces and held negotiations. There are contracts for the supply of our products, besides, Slutsk meat processing plant is actively working in the Chinese market".

In January the Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations will be 33 years old.
