Poland and Baltic States merely implementing Brussels' policies

Poland and the Baltic States often act merely as implementing Brussels' policies, which leads to tensions on their borders and increased political pressure.

Dmitry Yezhov, political scientist, associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation:

"These decisions by Poland and the Baltic states should be perceived not as decisions by Poland and the Baltic states, but as decisions by Brussels. If we're talking about the military-political component of decisions that are also made at the NATO level, then why not? Therefore, Poland and Lithuania are implementing them in this case. These are the states that will speak out more than anyone else on European borders, creating problems for Russia and Belarus."
