Putin and Trump can speak the same pragmatic language of efficiency for their states
The United States and Russia will be able to agree as the powerful states. Alina Zhestovskaya, a political strategist and member of the Russian Association of Political Consultants, shared her opinion about the upcoming phone conversation between Putin and Trump.
The Speaker emphasized that both states are united by the desire to develop and preserve their sovereignty.
"I think that now Putin and Trump are the persons who can speak the same pragmatic language, the language of efficiency and mutual benefit for their states, and the events that we are witnessing now, both after Trump's meeting with Zelensky and after the beginning of consultations between the Russian and American sides, indicate that, most likely, some fundamental agreement has been reached. The U.S. together with Russia, as the two largest, strongest countries in the world, will be able to agree on the rights of the strong, on the rights of the reasonable, as the states that want to develop and want to develop in the format of sovereign states."
