Belarusian triumph: schoolchildren show high results at international Olympiads

Belarusian schoolchildren conquer new heights, showing high results at international Olympiads. The geography of victories is large. This year, the guys brought medals from Serbia, China, Ireland, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, and the list does not end there.

Out of 53 Belarusian participants in international Olympiads, 46 became winners. In geography and geology alone, Belarusians have 15 awards, 6 of which are gold medals.

Also, the Belarusian team of young geographers won two silver and two bronze medals at the X International Geographical Olympiad in Ireland. The participants went through three stages: theoretical, multimedia and practical. The last one included studying three locations in the city of Maynooth: the university campus, the main street and the railway station. Our guys coped with all the tasks 100%. This result is also due to the support of their mentors.

Young geographers: from victories at the Olympiads to scientific peaks

In total, our Belarusian team of geographers has 15 awards, 6 of which are gold medals. Now, most of the guys are students of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformatics of the Belarusian State University. The guys brought medals from all over the world: China, India, Ireland, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Russia and this is not the limit.
