Exchange of experience: Delegation from Turkmenistan for UNESCO Affairs arrived in Minsk

Belarus and Turkmenistan are strengthening cooperation. The delegation of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO brought to Minsk its experience in implementing programs and participating in international projects.
Best practices are studied at the secondary school No. 161 in Minsk. This school is far from a random choice for holding a big conversation between Belarus and Turkmenistan on cooperation through UNESCO. The club of the organization CID (Center of Interesting Affairs) is based here. In general, if we talk about experience in the field of education, science and culture, then 53 clubs, 6 departments and 18 associated schools of UNESCO are successfully functioning in Belarus, which are an important channel for the participation of children and young people in the activities of the organization. The National Commission of Belarus maintains friendly relations with commissions of foreign countries, including implementing joint projects.
Natalia Schasnovich, Senior Advisor of the Main Directorate of Multilateral Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:
We support all creative initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation. We are actively working with the Russian Federation, in particular, on preparing a joint nomination for the UNESCO World Heritage List. We also cooperate with the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I would like to note that the experience of the Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs was adopted in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and we are glad that Turkmenistan also came to Belarus to get acquainted with the best practices in this area. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs actively uses the organization's platform to promote national initiatives, taking an active position. Belarus has repeatedly been a member of the governing body - the Executive Council. The Republic of Belarus is also a party to numerous UNESCO conventions.
