How Belarusian Armed Forces regard militaristic revival of NATO elites
The West is not listening to Moscow's warning. More precisely, some of the elites, not paying attention to the risks of a new world war, just want to watch what happens next if...
In this situation, Belarus is trying its best to maintain peace and stability. About global security - in the "Disposition" project.
It seems in recent days that some Western leaders are excitedly considering whether there is a bottom to the abyss. The abyss to the edge of which the West has brought the entire planet. With intelligent democratic steps, savoring their own importance. With summits, confidential meetings, a rebus - to allow or not to allow Ukraine to launch missiles deep into Russia. Or to allow after the United States? The fact that this topic is ultimately important today for every inhabitant of planet Earth probably only adds flame to the delicate feelings of liberals.
Of course, Belarus is also closely watching the militaristic revival of NATO elites before Trump takes office. The domestic military has no question whether the West will have time to launch an irreversible chain reaction of war. We are responding to a possible escalation today, and are rapidly developing not only air defense systems. We are preparing for the worst, and therefore we are learning to protect entire units and parts from attacks. The military is building real underground cities for this. Even a lonely tent will not give away the location of its deployment now.
Alexander Mosolov, Chief of Staff of the Rear Services of the Armed Forces of Belarus:
"Options for accommodating personnel in field conditions without using tents are presented. These are mainly dugouts, dugouts with all types of rear support. A food warehouse, a clothing warehouse are located here, personnel are provided with meals using cooking facilities, and the personnel also bake bread here themselves."
Andrei Korshunov, Head of Department of the Main Directorate of Construction and Operation of the Armed Forces of Belarus:
"It is equipped taking into account the experience of a special military operation, it protects against air raids with three-rolling log ceilings, as well as nets that counteract kamikaze drones."
But, of course, taking cover is not the army's key priority. To avoid any thoughts of testing the country for resilience, the military trains itself to deliver high-precision strikes with all available means. And here the first violin is played by the missile forces and artillery. The military literally improves its skills at every lesson according to the formula: one missile - one target. They train, among other things, at Russian training grounds, where the ballistics of defense are adjusted based on the combat experience of allies.
Ruslan Chekhov, Chief of the Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of Belarus:
"The Missile Troops have completed a large number of tasks, primarily, of course, related to the performance of combat missions to strengthen our borders. In addition, we were actively engaged in combat training. The crowning achievement of our training this year was a test session with the Missile Troops, which took place at one of the Russian training grounds. At this training ground, we launched the Polonez-M, Smerch, and Tochka-U OTRK systems at maximum range."
Today, artillerymen increasingly work with single guns on a wide front. The principle of maximum dispersion prevails throughout the army. And the entire army accordingly needs advanced communications equipment even at the squad-platoon level. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Lukashenko has already given the relevant orders to modernize the control system. Many new products will soon be put into production.
Vadim Romaniv, Chief of Communications of the Armed Forces of Belarus:
"Last year, our mobile communications kit, the so-called analogue of "Starlink", was presented to the President of the Republic of Belarus. This year, we finally improved this kit almost to perfection and improved its quality and the number of services provided. And today we are demonstrating its capabilities. And before the beginning of the new school year, it will be in the troops."
The updated weapons system, as well as the vectors of development of tactics and strategy, will be tested for strength next year during the joint exercise "West-2025". Belarus will host the maneuvers. An international resonance is inevitable. "Transparent" Europe has not invited us to such exercises for a long time. Minsk still persistently does not lose optimism, but in a pragmatic way.
