Environmental safety requires consolidation of the entire world community

Consolidation of the entire world community is needed in resolving the environmental safety issues. And not just in words, but in deeds. This opinion was expressed by the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Environment and Nature Management of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Zhanna Chernyavskaya on the air of the First News Channel.
She noted that she was proud of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko: "At the World Summit on Climate Change, he clearly stated the low efficiency of the measures taken by the international community to combat climate change."
Zhanna Chernyavskaya:
"In many places on the planet there are wars, storms, hurricanes, floods, droughts, water shortages, food shortages. And what else needs to happen for European leaders to understand that climate change will affect everyone and all states, all countries need to take action. And I want to ask them: since when have you been hoping for the best? Maybe it's time to stop imposing sanctions, building fences, engaging in color revolutions and destroying the economies of many countries, because environmental safety requires the consolidation of efforts by the entire world community, and not in words, but in deeds."
"And if you are not dealing with environment, climate change issues, then you need to pay for emissions. Maybe the entire world community needs to approach such states with this principle: the polluter pays," the Chairman of the Standing Commission on Environment and Nature Management believes.
