At the CIS summit, the President of Belarus, as is known, presented a joint Address to the peoples of the CIS countries and the world community in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people. Interestingly, it was Lukashenko's words from this message that were most widely broadcast by leading news agencies, because they contain the truth about yesterday, today and tomorrow.
"The historical rightness of our peoples is an obstacle to the implementation of the long-term geopolitical plans of the West, in which there is no place for other strong powers. If it were not for the heroism of the Soviet people, there would not be those states and people who are doing everything to discredit the feat of the Soviet people and take away the Great Victory that unites us so much," the Belarusian leader emphasizes.
Last week, another exercise in the CSTO format ended in Kazakhstan. 80 years ago, Soviet soldiers fought against the advanced and united West. But no matter, they quickly learned to fight. And we won then because we were simple, open, and most importantly, we were together.
